2 Chainz Biography

 Tauheed Epps (also known as 2 Chainz), is a popular American rapper and hip hop artist. Georgia born, he formed the hip-hop duo Playaz Circle together with a high-school friend. The group's debut album, 'Supply & Demand,' was a mixed success. Epps' second album, 'Based on a T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. Debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200, it became a tremendous success. It was a huge hit, selling 147,000 copies in its first week! Following the release of the album He hasn't been looking back and has now become one the best rappers in the US. He's been nominated for six Grammy Awards so far. One of them were won by him for his song "No Problem". When his bag with promethazine and marijuana was found in his bag during a flight departure from Los Angeles International Airport, the singer was detained. However, his brushes with the law haven't impacted his popularity in any way. His fourth studio album, "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music" was released in June 2017. Based on a T.R.U. Story, 2 Chainz’s first studio album, can be described as his debut album as well as his most popular. The album was a huge success. It climbed to the top spot in the US Billboard 200 and sold 147,000 copies in just one week. In the course of the year, it eventually sold more than 623,000 copies. The album featured hit singles like 'No Lie The Birthday Song', 'No Lie and I'm Different. It was also nominated to win  the 'Best Rap Album' award at the 55th Grammy Awards. The majority of reviews were mixed. 2 Chainz married Kesha Wade in 2013. The couple have three children, Heaven and Harmony. Despite a successful professional career, he's notorious for his brushes with law enforcement. He was arrested numerous times for possession of drugs.
