Aaron Jeffery

  Logie Award-winning actor from New Zealand and Australia, Aaron C. Jeffery. His characters include Terry Watson in Water Rats and Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He was also the character Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery was born in Auckland and moved to Australia as an adult. He then was a student at NIDA. After graduating in 1993 from NIDA and NIDA, he started his television career with the children's programme Ship to Shore. Jeffery is well-known for his performance as Alex Ryan in the drama McLeod's Daughters which he left in 2008. He also appeared in the third season of the New Zealand drama series Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery was also portrayed as Frank in Underbelly: Badness. On 22 June the show was completed. Three days later it was announced that Jeffery had joined the cast of Neighbours as Bradley Fox for two months. It was announced that Jeffery had been assigned the role of Corrections Officer on Wentworth in October. Bevan Lee's show Between Two Worlds starred Jeffery. In April 2021 it was revealed that Jeffery was being chosen to be a part of the new Netflix thriller series Pieces of Her, which is based on the Karin Slaughter novel of the same title. In 2004 and 2007, Jeffery won the Silver Logie award for the Most Popular Actor in a Drama Series for his performance on McLeod's Daughters.
