Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy was born on November 25 on the 25th of November, 1968. She is a Canadian singer, actress and musician. Her most well-known work is her role on the American television series Law & Order, on which she played the prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three seasons as well as Crossing Jordan, on which she played the lead character, Jordan Cavanaugh, for six seasons. She was also acting in movies such as RoboCop 3 or Most Wanted as well as independent films Chutney Popcorn, which she co-directed. Hennessy was raised in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy was her father. He was a meat marketer and a sales/marketing executive. This job required a lot of travel and caused frequent family changes. The mother of her child, Maxine, a secretary, left the family in 1982, leaving her daughter to be partially raised by her maternal grandmother, Eleanor who lives in Kitchener, Ontario. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. Jacqueline Hennessy is her identical twin sister. Jacqueline is a magazine writer in Canada. Her ancestry is comprised of Irish, French, Swedish and Italian heritage from her father's side and mostly Ukrainian Roma on her mother's. She was educated at Stanley Park Senior Public School and was a graduate of Grand River Collegiate Institute in Kitchener, Ontario and busked in the Toronto subway. Her sister and she made their acting debut as twin callgirls in 1988’s Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, who was the actress who ultimately got the part, claimed she was a finalist to portray Dana Scully in The X-Files. She played this role for three seasons, and then ending the show as an actor in 1996.
