Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols was the daughter of Alison Nichols and James Nichols. She was born in Augusta Maine. Nichols has English, French Canadian, German, Irish, Italian and Scottish roots. Cony High School, Augusta was where she graduated with the highest jump medal. Columbia University in New York City was where she graduated with a double degree in economics and math. She began modeling and launched an impressive career in modeling, with prominent brands like Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch or L'Oreal. Rachel made the decision to pursue acting after being offered a role in the HBO drama Sex and the City (1998). This was her first audition. Her first film appearance was as Jessica Matthews in Dumb and Dumberer: How Harry met Lloyd (2003). Her success continued through roles in such projects like The Amityville Horror (2005), The Inside (2005), Alias (2001), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2008), Criminal Minds (2006) (a regular role as the FBI Agent Ashley Seaver role) and Conan the Barbarian (2011). She was the lead character of a police officer Kiera Cameron on the science fiction show Continuum (2012).Attended and graduated from Columbia University with a double major in economics and math. She was a model for Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch, L'Oreal and Nicole Miller. She was the restaurant hostess for Sex and the City, the first role in which she auditioned. On December 30, 2013, she became engaged to real estate developer Michael Kershaw. She is a natural blonde.
