Zooey Deschanel
Zooey Claire
Deschanel (born 17 January, 1980) is an American model, actress, musician,
singer, and songwriter. She made her film debut in Mumford (1999) and had an
appearance in Cameron Crowe's film Almost Famous (2000). Deschanel is
well-known for her slapstick characters in comedy films such as The Good Girl
(2002) and The New Guy (2006). She also appeared in dramatic films with Manic
(2001), All the Real Girls (2004), Winter Passing (2006) Bridge to
Terabithia(2007), The Happening (2008) and The Driftless Area (2014). She was
Jessica Day's star in the Fox sitcom New Girl between 2011 and 2018. The show
received three Golden Globe Awards nominations, as well Primetime Emmy Awards
nominations. Deschanel was initially seen in the jazz club If All the Stars
Were Pretty Babies in 2001, was on the stage for several years. Deschanel
joined forces with M. Ward in 2006 and released their debut album Volume One.
They have since released five albums which include Volume Two (2010), A Very
